            The Green Beast

            My version of the Green Beast. A great refreshing absinthe cocktail! I use honey syrup rather than simple syrup, but I'm sure not much of a difference. Be sure to use fresh squeezed lime juice. The cucumber garnish infuses an added complexity.

            Ingredients [ oz | cl ][ My Bar ]
            1 oz Absinthe[ Add ]
            1 oz Lime Juice[ Add ]
            1 oz Simple Syrup[ Add ]
            2 slices Cucumber[ Add ]
            3 cubes Ice Cube[ Add ]
            3 oz Water[ Add ]
            Method: Prepare in a shaker
            Glass: Collins
            1. Squeeze one medium-sized lime.
            2. Pour absinthe, lime juice, simple syrup and cold water into a cocktail shaker.
            3. Fill with ice and shake well for 10 seconds.
            4. Strain into a chilled collins glass.
            5. Add cucumber slices and ice cubes.
            6. Enjoy!
